Biografia My Sunday Spleen

Milan, 2012: Vincenzo (lead vocals & guitar), Armando (bass) and Walter (drums)
came together for the first time and their journey began. The very next year saw the arrival
of an EP, the eventual precursor to debut album “Before”, released to critical acclaim. The
album was used as the soundtrack to the short film “Mustang Blues” (2019), which
subsequently led to a nomination for “Best Soundtrack” at the Mediterraneo Festival Corto
in September 2020, further endearing the band to a new audience. A change of drummers
occurred shortly before Covid struck, seeing the entrance of Paola “Johnny” Bertozzi into
the setup. With newfound vigour and a fresh formation in tow, the band spent lockdown
recording their follow-up with second album “Prisoners of Nowhere” being “locked in” for
release on the 9th April 2021, under Rocketman Records.
