Influenced by the New-Wave from '80s and Alternative from 90s-20s, he found out that Electro-Rock is his ideal compositive dimension.
Catchy riffs and dark atmospheres come along with lyrics talking, without filters, about situations and feelings lived in first person.
Between 2016 and 2018 there had been realesed two EP: the first self-produced consisting in four tracks, the second, “Lifexperiment”, officially released on the most important digital stores on 12th of September 2017, mixed and mastered at Studio Volta Recordings. The single taken from it is “People of Verboten Lake”, along with the videoclip directed by Pupillaquadra.
On February 2018, with Massimo Porro, ex-member at bass and keys, NEW_R were finalist at “Doc Rock Circolino Semifonte” contest.

NEW_R è il progetto solista di Riccardo Mazzini (Voce/Chitarra/Elettronica).
Influenzato dalla New-Wave anni '80 e l'Alternative '90-'00, trova nell'Electro-Rock la sua ideale dimensione compositiva.

Tra il 2016 al 2018 sono stati pubblicati due EP: il primo autoprodotto composto da 4 tracce, il secondo, “Lifexperiment”, uscito ufficialmente il 09/12/2017 sui più importanti stores digitali, mixato e masterizzato presso lo Studio Volta Recordings. Da esso è stato estratto il singolo “People of Verboten Lake” con il videoclip realizzato da Pupillaquadra.
Nel Febbraio 2018, insieme a Massimo Porro, ex-componente al basso e alle tastiere, i NEW_R sono stati finalisti al contest “Doc Rock Circolino Semifonte”.
