Camp Art Festival: The Exaltation of the art Even if until today we thought that artistic creation daesn’t go beyond the canvas, we denied the concept of “ art democracy”. To lapse this consideration today there are the young organizers of the Camp Art Festival 2010, unique and unrepeatable event that will take place on 11-12-13 August 2010 in Cefalù, uncontaminated pearl of the Mediterranean Sea. The idea was born from the desire of some young people to create an unique event that will remain fixed in their life. In fact …. Everyone, is someone, only if he leaves behind him, only just a faded sign, an image that nobody ignores. Well, We, young people of the Camp art Festival, will leave our sign this year too: the will, the desire to represent through every kind of art, the freedom of thought and speech. Today the art, so beautiful, so amusing, so pleasant and wonderful, claim , like men, an open space where everybody can freely dialog , without ideologies, without proclamations or flags, a testimony and innocence’s time-space. Art speaks with its own language that go beyond the sensory perception. Art speaks to the soul, that is the most close and deep part of us. The great Aristotle says: “ Art, besides arousing pleasure and amusement, rouses a purification of emotions, aids the moral perfection and is able to arouse emotions. It contributes to the reaching of men’s higher aim, that is the happiness!!!; Trough the art we get out of any worldly employment and life’s needs. Surely they will always resist but their weight, their conditioning in our life, will become smaller and smaller, until, after a time, we will be able to declare that we can be happy in our life. The music, high art’s expression, will be the main star of our festival. It will fill and gladden our days and will take charge of its message. Art is communication and it will never scare us; it must be seen as the essential instrument that helps us to find the reason of existence. Because art, as love, can everything. Camp art Festival, three days to renew the opaque cities’ image; Camp art Festival, three days to improve young people’s talent that can find no space in the present society; Camp art Festival, three days to harmonize art and nature. LET GIVE SPACE TO THE ART, LET GIVE SPACE TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE, LET GIVE SPACE TO THE CREATIVITY AND TO THE LIGHTHEARTEDNESS.
