Nasce da una dualità: io cercavo affetto, l’altra persona cercava solo attenzioni. Durante questa breve e superficiale frequentazione ho sempre voluto credere alle sue giustificazioni. Ma una volta finita la storia, sentire l’ennesima scusa detta per alleggerirsi la coscienza è stato troppo. Ho persino riso di me stessa per la serie di sfortunate relazioni che stavo avendo in quel periodo, e ho voluto esprimere la mia esasperazione con questo brano. Perchè a quel punto non restava che prenderne atto: era stato solo un errore in più da aggiungere alla lista, ed era evidente che avrei cercato ancora affetto nella direzione sbagliata.
