Essere i migliori, non sbagliare strada, non arrivare in ritardo, avere le idee chiare, essere sempre al meglio. Tutti si aspettano grandi cose da te quando sei giovane, compreso te stesso, e il confronto con gli altri è tanto duro quanto inevitabile. Questa sensazione di dover sempre correre, correre, correre, mi ha portata ad un punto di rottura in cui sono stata costretta a scegliere: rallentare o cadere inevitabilmente. Ho fatto pace con l’idea che a vent’anni si deve anche respirare, che c’è tutto il tempo per sbagliare e ricominciare, e che non c’è niente di male nel fermarsi un attimo e prendersi i propri tempi.
