Joujoux d'Antan bloomed in 2003 on the banks of Lake Garda, found in a hazy and pretty quiet area far in the north of Italy. Following a few gigs in their hometown, the band recorded their first ep in 2005, named Nel Mio Armadio, and soon started to be recognized as a strange creature through italian skimpy music panorama. They opened their official myspace page in march 2006, and in september the band was chosen by Sean Lennon as his support act for the entire european portion of Friendly Fire World Tour. The band would play, for their first time, in venues such La Cigàle in Paris, or Bush Hall in London; the same band whom only a couple of months before had never left their neighbourhood for concerts. After that, they got well known in hometown, and in 2007 they chose to work with the local Kandinsky Records, with whom they first release a live ep called Live à Le Grand Mix (a recording of the show they played there on Feb, 26th 2007). First official LP, titled Mi Voglio Bene Come un Figlio, out 09/09/09, instantly got very warm responses from press and public. Joujoux d'Antan are currently touring italy promoting the record, and for Autumn/Winter 2010 is scheduled the release of their first english LP, whom will be distributed all around the globe.
