By 2016, Sebastiano was able to approach the songwriting process in a new way thanks to his fruitful experimentations, carrying over much of what he'd learned from improvising into his new sound. Each track was now composed as a single stream of consciousness, with no post edits, in order to present a clear, undistorted expression of the self in that very moment.
Sebastiano's music started to get noticed, and in the following years, he played small clubs across in the world; in Milan, Dublin, San Francisco, and New York.
Then, in 2018, he met bass player and producer Andrea Lombardini who helped produced his first album, "In Your Room", which was recorded on the same principles of immediacy and proximity. The record was based on minimal arrangements and editing, with Sebastian O on vocals and guitar, and Andrea supporting on bass and drums.
