Matteo Polci (Chitarra), Enrico Orlandi (Chitarra), e Giulio Bodini (Basso) si conoscono nel laboratorio di musica moderna del CDM di Montesacro, a Roma.
Orfani di un batterista i tre cambiano più volte formazione, senza appropriarsi mai di un genere musicale, ma sperimentando molto.
Il delinearsi del loro profilo artistico avviene nel momento in cui il gruppo sceglie il nome Storm And Impulse, traduzione inglese della corrente letteraria pre-romantica tedesca Sturm Und Drang.
Momento chiave della storia del gruppo è l’incontro con Matteo Navarra, che diventa il nuovo batterista nel 2010.
Il gruppo comincia a rifinire il proprio genere, trovandosi a proprio agio nella scrittura di pezzi rock forti ed emozionali, dal suono grezzo e volutamente poco sofisticato, diretti e coinvolgenti, definiti da loro stessi IMPULSIVE ROCK.
Proprio da questo irrefrenabile impulso gli S. I. scrivono il loro primo singolo “Sea of Fools”, con il quale, attraverso My Space e Facebook, si promuovono e conquistano i primi fan.
L’esperienza di Emergenza Festival nel corso della Primavera 2011 è certamente la vetrina più importante per il gruppo che, con concerti appassionanti, trasmette la carica della propria musica al pubblico e si aggiudica il 2° posto alla finale romana del concorso, vincendo così un’esibizione che li vedrà protagonisti in una capitale europea nell’ Ottobre del 2011.
Attualmente il gruppo vanta la produzione del proprio EP “Storm And Impulse”, registrato recentemente per essere distribuito ad ogni concerto.

BIOGRAPHY
Matteo Polci (Guitar), Enrico Orlandi (Guitar), and Giulio Bodini (Bass) met each other in a laboratory of modern music at CDM OF MONTESACRO, in Rome.
They change formation many times, and with it thae change the drummer too, without choosing a musical kind, but experiencing a lot.
Their artistic profile is delineated when they choose the name: STORM AND IMPULSE, English translation of the German literary current pre-romantic “Sturm Und Drang”.
The key moment of the group’s history, starts when they meet Matteo Navarra, that becomes the new drummer in 2010.
The group begins to refiner their kind of music, preferring strong rock songs, from the crude and intentionally “not so much” sophisticated sound, directed and being involved, defined from themselves IMPULSIVE ROCK. From this unstoppable impulse the S A I write their first single “Sea of Fools”, with My Space and Facebook, they got the first fans. The Emergernza Festival experience in the Spring of 2011 is the group most important showcases that transmits strong emotions with their own music to the public, and playing exciting concerts, reaching the 2nd position, and winning an exhibition in a European capital in October 2011.
Currently the group boasts the production of the EP “Storm And Impulse”, recorded recently for being distributed to every concert.
