1.23 start their activity in the end of 2009, for the purpose of playing their own music. After some months, in which their sound begins to be defined by playing Radiohead, Marlene Kuntz and Afterhours songs, they decide to give importance not to live performances, but to their first Ep, prepared since June to December 2010, and recorded in January in Castelbuono. Parabolé (February 5th 2011), the result of their work, is a self-produced Ep containing five songs: a mix of sounds in which 'melodic noise' gains a predominant importance. 1.23's lyrics contain references about history and drama, literary quotations and some thinkings about love.
