Native to Australia, he met guitar extraordinaire Matty T Wall at his high school who was the inspiration to acquire a Marshall amplifier and a Flying V, and to start his own band.
Originally co-founded and conceived as a classic three-piece in Sicily 1997. The band grew artistically playing the Catania hinterlands around the turn of the century in an era in which the underground rock scene, renown as Italy’s own Seattle of the 90’s, was particularly fertile with talent and live concert activity. Crafting a unique brand of psychotic-alternative-metal the trio blended elements of psychedelia and delirium that mark their 1999 demo 'Don't make eye contact'. They split in 2002.
The orphaned concept of uratia gradually evolved into a solo side project while the artist continued to mature musically collaborating in many a band as guitarist, vocalist and drummer. Most notably played guitar on One Eye Dog's modest indie-rock masterpiece 'Wunder'. By 2012 previously left-aside compositions piled up collectively displaying a detachment from traditional rock band aesthetic in blatant disregard to any specific genre configuration. In today's cold satanic machine-ordered e-culture world, uratia finds solace in undefined limitlessness.
