DESCRIZIONE
The Orchard
Oh Lord, what a shame
In the orchard you’ve blessed lust and seed
Then mom, as a joke
In a hay road she sent me out naked
But mom, as a dare
Became silent in an excess of care
All wrapped in my auntie’s arms
I saw the orchard swallowing her
My dad, no matter which
“Scarecrow Johnny” or “Philippe le thief”
Despite my auntie’s complain
They left me orphan or free
To soil myself in the lane
That nowhere going boat
And my half crown of thorns
A girl called Lola
A pair of old scrappy heads
I followed the path
Playing with a crooked fate
So I became the man I’m not
But by now it’s too late
If my seed was blank
Maybe It’s ‘cause my root was sick
I’m not worried ‘bout the son
I’ll meet him soon in the orchard
