MOCO, primo disco del giovanissimo duo Monkey OneCanObey, è un tentativo di estrapolare la beatbox dai parametri prettamente legati al panorama Hip-Hop per condurli tramite la chitarra elettrica verso nuovi mondi che parlino di quotidianità e dell’inutile odio nei confronti di tutti. Il viaggio che il duo propone nelle 7 tracce di questo esordio, è un percorso verso la personale redenzione nei confronti dell’oblio che ci troviamo a fronteggiare per sentirci migliori. Con il primo singolo "Philled Lungs", la band deride, attraverso il testo, l’atteggiamento regressivo esercitato da tutti noi nelle stressanti azioni di ogni giorno, abbracciando di nuovo un se stesso pronto ad affrontare il mondo. MOCO, first full length from the young duo called Monkey OneCanObey; it's an attempt to take the beatbox out of the Hip-Hop attitude and, with the help of electric guitars, to conduct it toward new worlds who can talk about everyday living and the useless hate we all use to face the day. The journey that the monkeys propose through their 7 songs, wants to describe the path to a personal redemption confronting to the void we fight, only to feel better than before. With the first single "Philled Lungs", the band jokes, between the lyrics, the regressist posture that we acting between the stressing moves of the day, embracing a new identity.
