THE TREE WITH THE SPOON
I feel so well here
In the garden there are comfy wooden seats
Where we can sit down
Where falling into sleep somehow
Unmoved I witness to life going by
Drop by drop
The endless river’s flowing overtime
Spirit is lost in the rye
Look at that boy
Watch his sallow face
A scared swan
Under the fury of menacing waves
I marvelled at the sun through the trees
I picked up red flowers
And I held them in my hands
The light was bright in my chest
If I could have this memory of me
Now I’m stretching out to the stars
Touched by the moon
I feed myself with a spoon
Look at that boy
Watch his sallow face
A scared swan
Under the fury of menacing waves
Look at that boy
Watch him in his darkest night
Still unaware
Only in the darkness a bright light shines
Fireflies
We are Fireflies
Into dark we shine
Just like Fireflies

L’ALBERO CON IL CUCCHIAIO
Mi sento così bene qui
Nel parco ci sono comode panchine
Dove ci possiamo accomodare
Dove ci possiamo addormentare
Assisto impassibile all’andare della vita
Stilla dopo stilla
L’interminabile fiume scorre fuori tempo
L’essenza è smarrita tra la segale
Guarda quel ragazzo
Osserva il suo volto terreo
Un cigno impaurito
Sotto la furia di onde minacciose
Mi meravigliavo del sole tra gli alberi
Raccoglievo fiori rossi
E li stringevo tra le mani
La luce mi risplendeva in petto
Se ricordassi questo di me
Ora che proteso alle stelle
Illuminato dalla luna
Mi nutro con un cucchiaio
Guarda quel ragazzo
Osserva il suo volto terreo
Un cigno impaurito
Sotto la furia di onde minacciose

Osservalo nella sua notte più buia
Ancora ignaro che solo nel buio
La nostra luce brilla splendente
