Their instant musical chemistry drove them to set up PROUST, and they started as a duo with Emanuele playing guitar and vocals and Filippo playing drums and backing vocals. Later on the band added a third member, guitarist Sebastiano Meneghini.
The sound of the band features noise, harsh notes and constant rhythms.
Proust has performed in several iconic international venues such as “Camden Rocks Presents” in London, “The Void Noize” in Hong Kong, “Pink is Punk” in Milan and “Wah Wah Club” in Venice.
In late 2016, the band completed an EP “PROUST” that was released in February 2017 by the independent Asian label iii-records.
