L'intento di base è stato incidere un album capace di rappresentare cosa proponiamo live, ma allo stesso tempo, in grado di rappresentare più sfumature 60's/70's che ispirano il compositore. In questo senso la lezione di Paul Weller a riguardo è un punto di riferimento come esempio di "filologia" rispetto ai generi cui si ispira il lavoro, quali psych, Mod R&B e soul, senza perdere di vista l'esigenza di melodia.
