Ancora grunge. Ma questa volta di quello sporco, di estrazione punk. Il grunge dei Mudhoney e dei Nirvana di “Bleach”. E se “What's the topic of the day? (forget the rest)” puntava il dito su come tutti sentiamo il bisogno compulsivo di dover dire la nostra rispetto a qualsiasi argomento, pur non avendolo analizzato a fondo, “Propaganda in my eyes, again (you’re erased)” parla proprio di come dall’alto veniamo influenzati in tutto quello che diciamo e pensiamo di pensare, anche quando gli argomenti trattati sono di natura nobile: il potere ha imparato che censurare non serve a nulla, ma è molto più efficace portare il dibattito a livelli banali, in modo che ci sia la percezione diffusa che le persone, i politici, persino gli imprenditori, si interessino di determinate tematiche, ma mantenendo un perpetuo status quo garantito dal fatto che non si affrontino mai, realmente, le problematiche di cui si dibatte; dal fatto che non si punti mai il dito verso le reali cause che portano alle storture presenti nella nostra società.
