al-khīmiyya

HEXN is one and only, the pursuit of the mystic, the persecution of the occult, the desire of alchemic knowledge. Synthesizers, distortions, a three strings cigar box, infinite loops and stubborn echoes, take the listener on a timeless dimension, where the sound blends with the images evoked by noise and ancestral moans. The synthetic percussions, like invisible drums, mark the time of illusion. Drones forming a carpet for dark rituals, poisoned by visions and magic, screams seeking attention of forgotten gods. On the February 29, 2015 a two pieces EP was released, self-produced and hand-printed in a 50 copies CD limited edition.

The first album was recorded at the end of 2014 in a live studio session. It is called “al-khīmiyya” and it’s a concept album about alchemy, out on September 28, 2015, the day of the Bloody Moon, the last of the tetrad. A stream of sound takes the listener on a journey, in a mystical dance that tells the alchemical vision of the universe.
