Basking still, no glorious plans.

Small as dust, they would fly,
Breed like storms, claim the sky.

They leave the earth as designed.

Credo che il paragone con le lucertole del deserto sia un po' azzardato, ma l'essere umano, nei sui millenni di storia, ha davvero raggiunto un'evoluzione e sviluppo tali da esserne davvero fieri?
Penso che è da troppi pochi anni che l'uomo si interroga sul suo operato e degli impatti che ha sul resto delle specie sul pianeta e sul pianeta stesso.
Sicuramente le lucertole del deserto non si sono mai chieste se la loro esistenza abbia causato danni irreversibili, ma è forse perché non ne hanno mai avuto bisogno?
