Goodbye parla di un addio lucido e senza rabbia; della malinconia che resta quando l’amore finisce prima che svaniscano i ricordi. Racconta di due persone che cambiano a tal punto da non poter più rispettare le promesse fatte da un’altra versione di sé.
Tali promesse non vengono spezzate per leggerezza, ma per onestà: mantenerle significherebbe tradirsi ancor più che infrangerle.
