Un synth evanescente, ma incisivo, e una chitarra acustica introducono Dance Plague Delirium, per poi lasciare spazio a chitarre distorte cariche di delay, accompagnate da una sezione ritmica senza fronzoli. Il brano rievoca quell’assurdo evento che fu la piaga del ballo di Strasburgo del 1518, durante il quale centinaia di persone, in un episodio di isteria di massa, cominciarono a ballare senza motivo apparente, continuando per settimane fino - in alcuni casi - a lasciarci la pelle.
