DESCRIZIONE
Dal profondo di un mondo distante, i Crossin’ Midnight portano alla luce la loro ultima uscita, “Silent Sunshine”, un brano hard rock intriso di influenze grunge che ricerca il sound dei primi anni ’90, quando la distorsione era al suo apice.
Con la sua strofa asciutta e frammentata questa canzone si concentra sulla comprensione delle insoddisfazioni, banali e non, dell'essere umano, attraverso la prospettiva di "uno straniero su questo pianeta”. Il ritornello trasporta l'ascoltatore attraverso questi sentimenti contrastanti con il basso e il ritmo deciso della batteria, leggermente smorzato dagli ariosi fraseggi della chitarra.
Alla fine lo "straniero" simpatizza con quelle emozioni espresse dal bridge dinamico, risolvendo in un assolo di chitarra ancora più potente. Il tutto termina con lo stesso disagio che inizialmente era stato criticato, enfatizzato dall'ultimo ritornello più aspro.
Dall'alba al tramonto, un viaggio, un riflesso della volontà di carpire un significato in quello che sembra essere un universo senza speranza. Osservandolo mentre scorre, impotente e perso nei propri pensieri.
