“PANDORA” is the new production by percussionist and ethnomusicology researcher Antonio Testa, in collaboration with the musical experimentation ensemble Enten Hitti.
Unfolding from rarefied electronics tracks, "Pandora" evolves into soundscapes, evoking archaic and imaginary rituals from other worlds. A journey through musical genres and towards an organic sonic synthesis that leads beyond electronic, ambient, and world music.
A musical journey that is, above all, an inner journey.
Starting from personal demons, the album expresses the shadow sides of the current historical period in search of a peaceful contemplation of Light.
Five dense, atmospheric, evocative tracks that speak to those who, today, seek a space in music for a deeper listening.
Dozens of ethnic percussion instruments converse with electronic sequences, filtered oboe, trumpet shells, flutes and shamanic voices. Pandora is a prayer for the soul, an exorcism from the ugliness of the world, and a hymn to hope.
