We are born islands.
We are unknown and unexplored islands.
We live in relationships that manage to penetrate only a little beyond our surface.
We think we love, but understanding who the other is, what makes her/him feel good or what hurts her/him is a really difficult goal.
We too are unknown to ourselves.
The knowledge and exploration of oneself requires a lot of time and many questions and accompanies us throughout our whole life.
Life is but a path of personal growth, an evolution of one's soul and mind. If we never take this path, we will never be able to understand who we are and we may never know another person and really love.
Love would be just a subtle induced illusion.
The impression of loving and being loved.
