The Jungle Boogie suonano rock and roll: cantato e suonato in inglese, fatto di canzoni di loro composizione, rumorose & melodiche, spesso veloci, urgenti. Rumorosamente punk, sfacciatamente pop, lisergiche... Qualcuno le ha definite 'precoci eiaculazioni punk...' Nei live-sets la band propone, oltre proprio repertorio originale, alcune covers... ma qui non siamo di fronte a una cover/tribute band: le loro sono omaggi filtrati dall'attitudine, dal 'sound' e dal 'groove' della band. Le radici musicali de The Jungle Boogie affondano nel Delta e su a nord fino a Chicago. Dal 706 di Union Avenue di Memphis al 2120 di Michigan Avenue di Chicago, fino alla Motor City. Da Liverpool a Londra, Haight-Ashbury, L.A. Dal CBGB's di NYC a Seattle ... Le radici vere, quelle fisiche e mnemoniche sono in Toscana, nel Chianti. The Jungle Boogie play rock and roll! All songs are in english, and they are all self made! Loud and melodic, often fast, urgent. Loudly punk, cheeky pop, addictive.. Someone has described them as "early punk ejaculation.." During the live shows, the band perform some covers..but The Jungle Boogie are not a cover/tribute band: they play them with their own attitude, sound and groove typical of the band. The musical roots of The Jungle Boogie lie in the Delta and north to Chicago. From 706 Union Avenue, Memphis TN to 2120 Michigan Avenue, Chicago. In the Motor City, too. From Liverpool to London. From Haight-Ashbury to the Whiskey on Sunset Strip, L. A. From CBGB'S in NYC to Seattle ... The real roots, both physical and memory are in Tuscany, Chianti area. BIO Quando nel 1998 i De Genere si sciolgono, fenice dalle ceneri, nasce il trio The Jungle Boogie con Andrea Matteucci 'Mr. Jack Boom Boogie' alla batteria. Nel 2000 producono 'The Lucky Seven & The 8 Ball Disaster', una intervista in diretta radiofonica sulla storica ROCK FM, e un camerino con Rocky Roberts ... Nel 2004 esce 'The Lost Tape', due diverse copertine, in copie numerate. Esce anche Mr. Jack ed entrano Federico Ermini 'Ghigo' alla batteria Paolo Marucelli 'Muppets' alla chitarra & voce. Per un paio di anni ed a volte sotto falso nome (The Jbooz, The Moondogs, The Born Losers) hanno una intensa attivita' live alle prese con i classici del rock and roll. Dal 2006 la batteria la suona e tiene alti i cori 'Mr. Thunder' (Bisca Losca, Thunder Brothers). Poco dopo Fabiana Lo Savio 'Mrs. Soul Sista' ci mette la voce e registrano il terzo cd 'Lovin' Maker': quando viene pubblicato (2009) e per tutto il successivo tour con date anche in Francia e in Inghilterra le voci erano quelle di Camilla Brogioni 'Mrs. Kami' e 'Mr. The Devil J' l'attuale voce solista. When in 1998 De Genere burned up, as a phoenix that rises from the ashes, The Jungle Boogie take birth as a trio/combo, with Andrea Matteucci aka 'Mr. Jack Boom Boogie' on drums. In year 2000 the band produced 'The Lucky Seven & The 8 Ball Disaster', a live radio interview on the historic Rock FM, and a dressing room with Rocky Roberts ... In 2004 they released 'The Lost Tape', two different covers, in numbered limited edition. Mr. Jack, leaves the band and Federico Ermini 'Ghigo' became the drummer along with Paul Marucelli 'Muppets' on guitar & vocals. For few years and sometimes under false names (The Jbooz, The Moondogs, The Born Losers) they had an intense live-activity playing mostly 50s & 60s rock and roll classics. Since 2006, the drummer is Mr. Thunder (former Bisca Lisca and Thunder Brothers). Shortly after Mr Thunder's entry, Fabiana Lo Savio 'Mrs. Soul Sista ' joins as lead vocals and The Jungle Boogie record their third album 'Lovin 'Maker', published in 2009. Then the Soul Sista left the band and in the following promo tour with shows in France and England the voices were those belonging to Camilla Brogioni 'Mrs. Kami 'and' Mr. The Devil J ' the actual lead singer of the band.
