- 1. Uh Oh
After releasing their critically acclaimed debut LP in native Italy, Late Guest at the Party moved to NYC in 2013 to work with producer Caleb Shreve (Phantogram, Tegan & Sara). In 2014 they released their sophomore LP Repeater with Shreve on vocals, as well as a series of remixes for artists such as Phantogram, Wakey!Wakey!, K.Flay and more. A long, two and a half year journey has brought LGATP to this point. Left without a vocalist, they had to restart from scratch. This was also a big opportunity; a way to explore new territories in music and composition. “Uh Oh” is the result of a new sound and musical direction, and the second of many singles set to be released in the coming months. “Uh Oh” is heavily influenced by techno and house sounds. In the last three years, the band had the opportunity to explore and dig deep into the Brooklyn “club scene” and felt the urgency to include this sound experience into their music composition style.
