Songs for the Mean and the Vile

Scheduled for a fall 2023 release, "Songs for the Mean of the Vile" is Luca's inaugural venture into English-language lyrics, co-produced with his longtime friend and collaborator Sergio Salvi (Delaporte). This EP takes an audacious step across conventional boundaries, with collaborations featuring Trustfall, DM Stith, Fabiana Martone (Nu Genea), Fanali, and Laura Agnusdei that add layers of depth to the EP's sonic palette.

The EP also features a collaboration with the late Mark Lanegan, and Luca is currently waiting for authorisation from his family and label to release the song. If the song does not make it onto the EP, it will be later released as a bonus track and a single.

The lyrics, raw, political, and contemporarily imaginative, blend seamlessly with Luca's voice and those of his collaborators. Balancing this intensity, the music weaves together melody, soul, and uptempo rhythms.
