Crime of The Rhyme è il secondo album di Marcello Chiaraluce.
Contiene 10 tracce originali che si ispirano alla virata pop dei grandi gruppi progressive (Jethro Tull, Genesis, Pfm) duranti gli anni '80 e all'AOR, genere musicale che comprendeva molti stili ma che si rivolgeva a coloro che amavano una musica più impegnata (Dire Straits).
I testi richiamano in qualche modo l'edonismo decadente della Beat Generation à la Keruac, con uno sguardo ironico sulla vita del musicista di oggi con un lavoro, una vita sentimentale e un ruolo sociale decisamente precari.
L'album esce per l'etichetta GUIT-AL, fondata dallo stesso Chiaraluce, con cui intende curare le sue pubblicazioni future.
