Il brano fa anch’esso parte di quelli nati da improvvisazione anche se la sua genesi e più sofferta... soprattutto dal punto di vista del testo... Luca: “Sea of Darkness è stato inizialmente il mio tributo personale alla tragica scomparsa di Chris Cornell, artista assoluto che più di tanti altri ha influenzato la mia formazione come cantante e autore... è dedicato anche alla memoria di Anthony Bourdain, chef, viaggiatore e comunicatore di una ispirazione straordinaria... Il testo è stato scritto in un momento abbastanza buio nel quale come Band abbiamo sofferto la perdita di amici vicini a noi”
È il nostro tributo a chi non è più con noi, almeno con la propria presenza fisica ed al vuoto che viene lasciato a chi rimane a piangere una morte che non si riesce ad accettare, sicuramente uno dei momenti più sentiti del disco.
