DESCRIZIONE
Liberamente tratta dal romanzo “Cuore di Tenebra” di Joseph Conrad, la Ballata di Marlow (Marlow's Ballad) coglie l'aspetto del sogno e dell'alter ego presenti nel romanzo di Conrad.
Marlow guiderà per la prima volta verso l'Africa che all'epoca, sulle cartine geografiche, presentava delle zone bianche ed inesplorate:da bambino metteva il dito su di un punto bianco esclamando “Dagrande io andrò li”.
Stefania Altomare, innamorata della Letteratura Inglese, racconta di
essersi lasciata guidare dalla prosa e che la canzone stessa è stata
suggerita dal testo.
Questo brano è stato scritto nel gennaio 2001 nel Campus
Universitario di Cosenza e presentato spesso durante i live.
Ne esistono già alcune versioni demo con chitarra e voce ma l'arrangiamento finale è stato curato solo a partire da ottobre 2018.
