La distanza di due innamorati. Nella prima parte c’è un tono più terreno: la distanza è fisico-geografica, nella seconda parte il tono è etereo: la distanza non è la cosa più importante, il loro amore travalica le barriere del tempo (“now that we are old”), della morte (“Even if I’m gone”), della materialità (“only light”).
C’è solo un piccolo accenno alla tecnologia nella prima parte con “no text” e che non può sopperire o essere surrogato di sentimenti.
