A conti fatti un concerto non dovrebbe durare più di 50 minuti: è più facile condensare il meglio di sé e la soglia dell’attenzione resta alta. A questo proposito ci piacciono molto quelle band che salgono sul palco e iniziano il concerto senza troppe smancerie, con quell’attitudine diretta, esplicita, vagamente aggressiva: poche presentazioni, poche chiacchiere e poco tempo da perdere. "It’s so cool" è il prodotto di questo pensiero urgente e senza ornamenti superflui. La prima stesura del testo si limitava a ripetere incessantemente “It’s so cool, I’ve just hit a racist. It’s a pleasant feeling, I do not think I’ve ever felt better”. Salvo poi aggiungere altre cose che riteniamo cool, come ad esempio immaginarsi la vita come un nastro magnetico. Sul quale è possibile sovraincidere, o cancellare i problemi di tutti i giorni.
