TESTO
We're a branch of the sacred tree
Shaking leaves in the wind
We'd been sailing the seven seas
We left nothing unseen
Then the sky just began to rust,
And night devoured the moon,
When the rivers just turned to dust
The stars fell out of tune,
On through the night, we'll drink wine
And stare at the sky
On through the night, we will cry
Our final goodbye
The heavens split with a crimson seam,
The constellations bled fire
Time unravelled as in a dream,
Earth convulsed in a funeral pyre.
Gilgamesh stood tall and cried:
“Fate is not the gods’ to hide!
If doom is written in the clay,
Then I shall break the stone today!”
On through the night, we'll drink wine
And stare at the sky
On through the night, we will cry
Our final goodbye

DESCRIZIONE
